BALLAUGH beach is the venue for this weekend’s volunteer beach cleaning event with Beach Buddies on Sunday morning, May 8th at 10.30am.
We only had two new volunteers last weekend in Peel, but once again we kept up the record of seeing brand new faces at our events since the start of the year. We have had more than 17,000 different volunteers join Beach Buddies since we started in 2006, and the numbers continue to rise all the time.
Long may this continue, and a big big thank you to everyone who has ever picked up a piece of rubbish – not just on beaches, but everywhere on our Island. It makes such a difference.
