BEACH Buddies has chosen to host a beach cleaning and community clean-up event this weekend in Peel, from 10.30am to 12 noon on Sunday September 12th. The meeting point is the western end of the promenade, at the harbour. The Beach Buddies big red truck will be there and easy to see.
This is an ideal opportunity for new volunteers to take part in a very relaxed event, ideal for families, especially if you’ve not taken part before. Last weekend we had 12 new volunteers at Castletown Bay who all said they had enjoyed themselves and would be coming back, so we hope this might happen again this weekend.
Beach Buddies supplies all the equipment (gloves, bags, litterpickers) and we have Public Liability Insurance and Risk Assessments, if required.
