BEACH Buddies will make another attempt to hold a volunteer clean-up event in South Barrule plantation this Sunday (January 10th) after the original event was postponed last weekend because of the freezing weather conditions.
The event was one of the final gatherings on the last day of the highly successful “Festive Walking Festival”.
A Yellow Weather Warning had been issued last weekend and Beach Buddies took the decision to ask our volunteers to avoid travelling on potentially dangerous roads.
We hope weather conditions will be more favourable for Sunday, starting at 10.30am. However, if roads are frozen again, we will postpone the event with a notice on social media on Saturday.
