CONSIDERING that Beach Buddies has been in existence for 15 years you would think that it’s impossible to find somewhere new to go for our weekend volunteer event. However, this week (Sunday October 3rd) we will do just that!
We’re going – for the very first time as a team of vounteers – to White Strand, just outside Peel.
Beach Buddies has been there many times over the years with just one or two people at a time, but we have never previously organised a team event, so this is something of an occasion for us.
Please park carefully, as space is limited and you will all have to leave vehicles on the A road. Please park only on the west side of the road (ie: on the left if you’re driving from Peel towards Kirk Michael).
We meet – as normal – at 10.30am and finish no later than 12 noon. This is a day when the Manx Wildlife Trust will also be there hosting a “Mindfulness” event, and it will be good to join with them.
