IT’S A NEW YEAR and it’s an (almost) new venue for a weekend volunteer team event for Beach Buddies.
For only the second time in the charity’s 17 year history, a weekend beach cleaning event will begin from Port Soderick, starting at 10.30am on Sunday January 8th with the option for volunteers to clean not just the beach but also the glen, the river banks and the footpaths in the area. The session lasts a maximum of 90 minutes . . .
It’s time to put the festive season behind us, get some fresh air and enjoy the company of some great volunteers – and to get some exercise with a purpose!
