REGULAR Beach Buddies volunteer Roger Birtles keeps a frequent watch on the coastline in the south of the Island, especially in the Castletown area and has made some interesting (but also sad) discoveries.
He keeps finding bunches of new wrappers from food and sweets, all knotted and twisted and dumped in the same area in Castletown Bay.
The latest find includes 9 pie wrappers, 10 crisp packets and 10 assorted chocolate bar wrappers.
Roger’s comment “Unbelievable!” We agree.
