BEACH Buddies heads to the beautiful venue of Port Cornaa this weekend, with a beach cleaning session from 10.30am on Sunday, June 27th, and we are once again joined by the great team from Gaelg who have, for the last two weeks, rewarded beach cleaners with wonderful home made cakes, tea and coffee.
They are doing the same again this weekend alongside Beach Buddies (Caarjyn Ny Traieyn) and we are delighted to again join forces with Gaelg and help to expand the knowledge of the Manx language.
The parking at Cornaa is limited so we are asking those who are fit and healthy to not bring their cars down to the beach, but to find a place up the road a little, perhaps at the glen, and walk down the lovely track through the glen to the beach. We’re trying not to block the road for other people who visit this beach, and also to leave clear access for emergency vehicles.
