BEACH Buddies has a busy weekend in the pipeline with two major events on Sunday, June 19th, both in the north of the Island.
From 1pm, we will be joining forces with the people of Andreas for a community clean-up around the village, meeting at Ayre Utd Football Club from 1pm. Andreas has a special Jubilee event coming up on July 2nd so this is a great opportunity to make the village look at its very best for this special occasion. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
Then, at 2pm, we are involved with the charity ‘Love Tech’ for an event at Ballaugh beach when we join forces with their volunteers to clean up this beautiful stretch of coastline. Beach Buddies volunteers can choose to attend either event – or both(!)
We will provide the equipment at both events, and remove all rubbish collected afterwards, recycling as much as possible.
