THE final beach cleaning event of the year for Beach Buddies takes place on Sunday, December 13th on Ramsey promenade.
The meeting point is the car park at the northern end of the prom, close to the site of the former Grand Island Hotel. Start time is 10.30am, finishing no later than 12 noon.
Beach Buddies will shut down volunteer events until the end of the year, and gets going again with a brand new venture on January 3rd with a “Walk and Clean” as part of the new Festive Walking Festival.
There’s no need to book – just turn up at the South Barrule plantation car park at 10.3am and join in a leisurely walk through the plantation, picking up litter and then enjoying some New Year hospitality afterwards.
All ages welcome. No need to book. Dogs with well behaved owners are particularly welcome.
