BEACH Buddies will once again be joining in with the charity Breast Cancer Now on New Year’s Day for the Douglas Dip, which is again sponsored by Canada Life.
We need as many volunteers as possible to come along about an hour beforehand to clean up the beach and clear a route to the water for the dip, and we’re also inviting as many people as possible to join in and beat the record we set last year.
Just turn up opposite the Queen’s Hotel in good time for the 12 noon start and have a go! No need to let us know in advance. You can register on the day.
