FOR the final weekend volunteer event before the TT, Beach Buddies is organising a Pre-TT clean-up on the beaches, the glens, headlands and everywhere around the town of Port Erin.
The meeting point is alongside the fabulous Scoops Ice Cream Parlour at 10.30am on Sunday, May 22nd, finishing no later than 12 noon. Perfect spot to enjoy an icecream afterwards!
Every session this year has – amazingly – seen new volunteers taking part, so we’re hoping to keep this up again on Sunday. If you’ve never been before then expect a warm, friendly welcome from the organisers and fellow volunteers of all ages and backgrounds – from multi millionaires to humble beach cleaners!
We will have one more last minute event before the TT next week when we organise our annual clean-up of the Southern 100 course before the Pre-TT meeting. This will be later next week – date and time to be announced here soon.
