BEACH Buddies is delighted that lots of people in the Ravenglass area of the Lake District are regularly involved in beach cleaning activities, making a real difference to their beautiful coastline.
After such a stormy winter there has been lots to do lately, and we’ve just received a report today (March 14th 2020) about how the litterpickers we donated last year have been such a help to their activities.
Well done to everyone involved at Ravenglass. You have a great community spirit, a beautiful village (a fantastic pub!) and a truly spectacular stretch of coastline with lots of wildlife and seabirds. Your efforts will make a huge difference to the environment in which we all live.
Beach Buddies will definitely be going back to see you all again in Ravenglass to meet up with our very good friends. And we will definitely be joining them again for more beach cleaning sessions! (and a night out afterwards in the pub!).
